It’s time to move forward and put an end to decades of gridlock, costly legal battles, and divisions within our community.
This plan will result in hundreds of new, quality jobs and economic benefits for our region.
Every community in Oneida County will benefit from the $55 million in payments made by the Oneida Indian Nation under this plan, which will help with economic development and holding the line on property taxes.
The Oneida Nation employs 5,000 local residents and is a tried and true economic engine for our area. Passing this plan is in the best interest of everyone in the region.
In these difficult economic times, we cannot afford to pass up a good agreement that will create hundreds of new jobs here in the Mohawk Valley.
